Field Study — Surface Pattern Collection

A self-initiated pattern collection inspired by the insect world: beetles, dragonflies, and garden crawlers reimagined as playful, hand-drawn motifs. I experimented with real textures pulled from my own surroundings, weaving them into the repeats to give the patterns depth and a tactile, organic feel. Applied across children's apparel, the collection balances scientific curiosity with a warm palette that makes the tiny creatures feel approachable rather than creepy.
